My uncle is vaccinated.
He has been the hospital 3 times since the start of November from Covid issues. He has some medication for arthritis that affects his ability to fight COVID. Based on his current visit, they are telling him that he has severe lung damage, and poor oxygen levels and will probably have diminished lung capacity for the rest of his life. But they won't really know for sure until he has gone through months of respiratory therapy.

Should I text him and let him know the pandemic is essentially over?
