Abby is an amazing former player! As for ending games with PK's I completely agree it is a joke. I would rather have a shared title than an ending like that.
My solution for terminating a game with a score in the flow of play instead of with PK's is to have each team drop a player every 2 minutes once the initial overtime periods are over and no substitutions. Eventually the best player will be left with the best player and someone will have to score, even if it's keeper v. keeper.
