The FSU player had picked up a YC in the first half for a hard tackle against Colohan
In the second half the same FSU player commits the equivalent of a break away foul in basketball to prevent an excellent counter by BYU.

By rule it should have been a Yellow Card, her second of the game, which automatically becomes a Red. The player would have been forced off and FSU would have been forced to play with 10 instead of 11 putting them at a severe disadvantage.

These cowardly officials that are afraid to make the right call for fear of the effect it will have on the game, are actually penalizing the team that was fouled a second time.

It was the player that made the dumb decision that should have cost her team, not the official. But instead, the official makes things even worse by not enforcing the rules as they are written.
