Nobody really knows how KS has been treated behind the scenes. The couple of years after year 1 were rough. BYU “suggested” certain assistant coaches that he should hire and KS didn’t have a lot of $$ for assistants (that’s why we had some of the guys that we did—guys that didn’t have the experience and were not prepared to coach D1 football). I can’t see KS holding grudges but he’s been around enough to know that loyalty to coaches only lasts so long and he needs to have the same mindset towards the school.
