My post was about leadership re-evaluating the plates in front of them and delegating duties that they really don't need to take on. The idea that this is somehow critical of the abilities of the leadership is a bit of a misconception I think.
Too often, if someone questions any traditional structure within church holdings that are really only loosely connected to the church, members circle the wagons thinking it's questioning the leadership and the church itself. While I don't believe that anyone should ever criticize spiritual decision making on the part of leadership, questioning temporal decision making I think is absolutely necessary. They're human, they have their biases and their blind spots just like anyone else when it comes to business matters, regardless of their background. I don't understand why anyone would feel threatened by that.
