He missed some throws - but he had some that could not have been more perfectly thrown even as he was either being hit or about to be hit with people in his face.
I do think there's something to the idea that winning the Heisman is a team effort. A QB doesn't win it without a decent OL and WRs. An RB won't win it without a good OL. A WR isn't going to win it without a good QB and OL. You get the idea.
