There are 7 days on Carnival out of New Orleans for just over $130 if you are a VIFP member. Also, you are way under estimating your taxes, fees and gratuities. For that $130 cruise I mentioned those additional things are well over $400. But, I agree with you, living on a cruise ship could be cheap if you don't experience any difficulties. As I mentioned on here yesterday, if all goes well we will be leaving on an 8 day out of Miami On January 22. A little over $900 for a balcony and that includes travel insurance in case the covid or something else gets in our way.
