Similar to covid, pinkeye is also a very contagious but typically harmless condition. If 8,000 Delta employees got pinkeye over the last four weeks and couldn't work and it caused hundreds of cancellations, the story in the media would be completely different. There's no way I'm putting myself in a situation where there's a decent chance I could get pinkeye, why wouldn't I also do what I can to reduce my risk of covid?
