I agree that Rudy is probably about as crucial to the Jazz success as anyone is to their team…with the exception of probably Jokic. But part of that is because the Jazz have built a system that is so centered around his skills.

It’s a little Nash with the suns. Nash may have been the most important player to his team as the suns were a mess without him, but he was not in the conversation for best player in the game.

He did win though, so I guess that’s the Rudy argument. Biggest difference is Nash was crucial to the offense, which people will always give more credit to.
