From some of the info I've gathered, I've heard a normal cold could trigger
a positive response from Covid test. I don't know how or why, I just heard that many Covid tests can't distinguish between the common cold/flu and covid. So while you still could have had the Omicron variant, there is a very real chance that it was just a cold.

If you've had Covid before, your body gains a pretty strong immunity to it, unless you're considered medically obese or immunocompromised, and a couple other rare cases. So if you are near someone who had Covid after already having it, your chances of getting it again are very, very low.

And this isn't to discount what you're saying in any way; I'm just sharing what I learned for anyone who feels concerned about recontracting Covid, or getting the Omicron variant of it.
