Statistical difference on its effect on the body? First off, there’s no way you could even start to prove it. Second, sugar = calorie dense. Consume more calories than you expend = weight gain. Is the excess weight the issue or is the sugar the issue? Excess weight has more correlations to negative health outcomes than sugar intake does, it’s anchor man, not anchor lady and that’s a gosh darn fact.
