Yes, when USU decided that all he was going to do was hand off. So they totally
ignored any passing options on any plays and played all out run defense.
BYU realized what was happening finally and let him throw the ball on the most conservative possible pass plays. That's when he got a few yards.

I have no opinions on Conover - too small a sample size, but from what I've seen, most of the negativity towards him...
