I have this exact same problem. I don't know why. Let me know if you find out. It seems to be that when I open it it is
Attempting to run ads, then it doesn't actually tun the ad (it is totally blank, with the buffer icon, it just shows the small corner icon that says Ad 0/5 :30 or something like that).
Everytime I close and reopen the app, no problem. I've had suspicion that it was related to me having to Google accounts on my phone, my default is not the YouTubeTV subscriber.
Has happened on pixel phones and Samsung phones.
