Costco does audit their deals but I am not sure they get penalized for a lower

price. In the current market many dealers are opting out of the Costco deal because they just don't need it to drive traffic and they hate Costco auditing their deals

Worked well for me, they refer you to a participating dealership with a arranged price

In my experience, it really just streamlined the process. Minimal cost savings.
