I got to spend an extra two years living in Germany after a mission to Switzerland, so my language skills really solidified. But then I had to learn Mandarin for work, and if I start speaking German I code switch a lot. And then it starts affecting my Mandarin. But if I could drop the Mandarin the German would be fine.
