Different cities/states taxes. For example, I live in Toledo and here is an example of taxes we have that I don’t think Utah has
2.3% property tax (I think, that’s based off of what I paid for the house compared to taxes last year.
2% city income tax.
Looking at the possibility of moving back to Utah, but then I look at the house prices and think “nope”. But suddenly after looking into how much money I flush down the toilet to the government here compared to Utah, if I put that extra money And add it to my mortgage payment budget, suddenly I can buy a much more expensive house.
