Is he good at the 3pt shot? Does he have a reliable midrange shot? Foul shot? Does he have a reliable floater? Is he a good spot shooter? Is he good off the catch? Off the dribble? Can he readjust midair? What's his chances of hitting an off-balance shot? Does his ball have good play on the rim?

Those are all factors I see Alex scoring very high in. And someone like Bilas is sure to take note of that fact even if he's only caught a few of our games. And based on that, I could see him sizing AB up — & coming to the rather lofty honor that he bestowed upon him.

I'm not so sure I even disagree with you, but I'm also not so sure your opinion is as accurate or informed as Bilas's, either. I have my doubts that it is.
