I never block the lane.
I get over as soon as I possibly can. I just refuse to speed excessively to do it. So if I’m stuck passing a car with a speeding tailgater on my butt then I’m not gonna do 90 to get out of his way. I’ll slow down to the speed limit and get in the right lane as soon as I can.
Happens all the time. Why? because half the time you try and pass folks in Utah and they hit the gas. Well, if they’d been going that speed all along then you wouldn’t have needed to pass. So there you are now going 85 slowly passing the other car when you get some dude zoom up your tailpipe going 95, flashing like you need to go even faster.
