Dart was not officially offered by Utah. Dart did visit Utah after he had done well at CC. He was told they would offer but he had to commit on the spot so if they did lose Costelli he was locked in. Dart said he would not commit on the spot, thus Utah did not offer and they both went their separate ways.

Dart was not please Utah was late to the game. Also he did not like how things played out.

My 2 cents....if you are a legit QB why go to Utah? Dart wants to throw it around, have a high octane offense. For better or worse Utah is not that...known to have a good D and good RB's, not know as a QB school. BYU and others are much more appealing if you want to throw the ball around.
