Some really weird opinions on this thread.
BSU needs to prove they can stand on merit alone.
They bring in athletes that wouldn't be able to maintain ac average at most other schools.
They don't fill their stadium unless BYU is in town.
Their glory years are behind them.
And academically, they are horrendous, because there's almost zero competition for students trying to gain acceptance.
Oh, and their blue turf is what 2nd- rate schools do because they don't have anything else hang their hat on.

And Boise outside of football is an embarrassment to academia and athletics. Neither moves the needle.
