That’s implied when talking about a defense or defensive coordinator. He’s going to be scapegoated because he’s the one
that hires all the defensive coaches, teaches/leads the coaches, instills his recruiting philosophies, etc.
And he’s starting his 7th year in the same position. Maybe he’ll have enough depth to effectively run his defense by year 10 or so…
