It’s hard to see a true multi-point crash unless there’s just absolute insane
runaway inflation, as in people needing to liquidate investments just to buy food and keep the lights on. Because you’re right, I don’t know where the money would be going otherwise.

I think it’s much more likely that we see pretty muted growth in asset prices for the next decade. The stock market did 5% between 1970-1980. Wouldn’t surprise me much to see a repeat of that.
