I saw an analysis that said Provo was the biggest bubble in the country
Relative to wages. Prices had doubled wages up 10% or something like that.

It isn’t over either. For example in my ward there in Orem nearly every single house now has a basement apartment with a family in it that would normally be filled with UVU students.

The students have been forced into more expensive apartments as the basements have been rented to families that would normally be in starter homes. And the rent for those apartments is approaching $2k/month.

But many of those larger custom homes built in the 80s are now worth over $1M, where the basement apartments are much nicer than starter homes. A really crazy scenario
