They've isolated themselves for two years and no amount of testing, quarantining, masking, and hand wringing stopped the virus from getting in.

Is your suggestion that they just remain cutoff indefinitely from the rest of the world? That the native missionaries from that country never return home to their homes/families?

At some point, reality sets in. It is a virus which is part of the trials of mortality. But life moves forward.
