One of the best decisions we made for our kids was to find a charter school that has K-9th grades.
Our kids stay with the same relatively small group of classmates they get to know over the years and don’t have to go through the awkward Jr High school years trying to find new friends and fit in at a new school. It also helps that most of the families who put their kids in charter schools are more involved in their kid’s education and from our experience are generally high achievers.
