Hard to say, but there are always renters in a crash
And this is especially true if there is a wave of foreclosures.

I would bet that investors buying homes at historically low rates will do whatever they can to hold on to those properties for as long as they can. Buy with the intention of holding, rather than buying with the intent to flip.
