Ainge and it's not close
Jimmer was a great NCAA 3pt shooter, and Ainge was not because the shot didn't exist. However, compare their 3pt shots in the NBA. Jimmer shot 37.2%, and Ainge shot 37.8%. Looking at the total offensive game, Ainge shot better overall (46.9% vs. 40.9%), had more points/game (11.5 vs. 6.0), and had way more assists/game (4.0 vs. 1.4). Looking at the NBA game is arguably a more apples-to-apples comparison.
Plus Ainge was the far better defender and led by words as well as playmaking.
