Just curious, can you have a recession and a labor shortage at the same time?

Not that we are in a recession (yet!), or that the labor shortage will continue...

I guess the recession is mainly for white collar-type jobs, and labor shortage is blue collar-type? I dunno, just thinking out loud...

Just left the Home Depot in AF and the labor “shortage” is on full display.
