Was sitting at my desk in the front of my house this afternoon when our whole house shook from an explosion. A minute later noticed smoke coming up to my window from the neighbor's garage that shares a wall with our home. Sent my wife out to look and their whole garage was up in flames.

We got 911 called and they were there pretty quick. Wife was pounding on the neighbors door, but I guess the lady and her 22 year old son were both asleep. Thankfully the high school age daughter got home from school right then and she was able to get in and wake them up. Felt really bad for the daughter, it was pretty disturbing for her to get home from school and have her house be in flames.

It was pretty upsetting for everyone involved, and the neighbor garage and the outside of it is burned to shreds, but thankfully the inside of their house is ok, and really glad it didn't spread to our home. Our whole house reaks of smoke, so fingers crossed the smoke damage isn't too bad.
