This is all hearsay, but somebody said a contractor was working in the garage, and that's when it exploded. I know for sure that's not true, so curious if the son lied to the detective and said something like that. They didn't have a contractor over, the son is in welding school, and the fact that they took so long to get out of the house definitely shows they were asleep, so not sure where that story came from. But wouldn't be surprise if the bum son made up some crap like that - especially since the HOA has told them previously they didn't like him welding at the home. But who knows.
