Dads changing diapers at church: the system is rigged against us
I was walking by the nursery when my wife brought out our toddler who needed a diaper change. I offered to change her since my wife's calling is in the nursery. Bathroom was being used. After changing her in the kitchen (yes I used a stack of napkins as a pillow for her head on the counter), I then went back to the nursery to throw away the diaper thinking they had a trashcan for that purpose in there. I was laughed at by all of the women including my wife. I then made the long trek out to the corner of the parking lot to throw away said diaper.

My point in writing this post is to advocate for a fathers room in all church buildings. This would have gone much smoother with a father‘s room.
