BYU should do exactly what they want. I don't think they should bow to
the world, nor do I think the world should bow to them. I think the NCAA has been more accommodating than they need to be and I don't understand the claims of bigotry. They should just schedule the tournament and if one of BYUs games falls on Sunday they can choose to forfeit if they so desire.
I do think there are certain things that are so ingrained in LDS culture (and brand recognition) that they will never change, but the church would do differently if they could.

I think that once the old guard is gone from byu, you’ll see byu play on Sunday if the tournament requires it.

That’s my point. You do what has to be done on Sundays. That includes playing in the tournament if you have to.
