or we could play a B12 game on 9/2; Kansas has an opening and a bunch of B12 teams play FCS schools, which might have more scheduling flexibility. 9/9 and 9/23 are realistic options for the replacement game. 8/26 is even an option if we were to play teams that play at Hawaii in '23 and have room for an extra game, such as Stanford, Fresno, or Air Force (SDSU, SJSU, and NMSU already have games scheduled for 8/26).
