Funny - I read this 5 minutes after my sons requested I make it. My mods-
We love it. How can it be gross? Delicious.
How I do it - usually do at least a pound of bacon. Save to crumble on top later. Cook the ground beef in the bacon grease with onions. Throw down the beef. Mash potatoes and season to make delicious. Put on veggies of choice, (I usually use frozen combo of corn, peas, beans), tomato soup, potatoes, a ton of cheese and the bacon. Season with paprika. Boom. Bake and delicious.
