My parents were semi-retired, and in the summer months they'd stay at a summer house four days a week. I'd go with them sometimes, but usually not. So from Thursday through Sunday (Wed night through Sunday night), for 5+ months of the year, I was on my own.

My mom now says it was the stupidest thing ever, but they thought it was fine at the time. They were right at the time. It was NBD, and I didn't get in any trouble.
