My son, same age group has been hit 4 times this year. Sadly got drilled on
the shin his first at bat of the season of live pitching. Took one in the helmet against the hardest thrower in the league. My son has hit 4-5 batters as well as he pitches. This is the hardest year for kids in baseball. Many don’t come back after this age group. Lots of learning and bean balls.
