If you want to argue that female recruits are inherently and as quickly as comfortable and trusting of a male, dream on. Certainly men (like Juddy did) can gain the confidence and trust of female players, but that takes more time to earn than for a coach of the same sex.

There may be an impact with parents too, given the predatory sexual scandals such as women's gymnastics, U. of Mich., etc.
