They're below .500 over the past 15 seasons in football and they're lucky to get 35,000 tickets sold for a game (far fewer than that actually show up). The only way they cover their annual $20 million in losses for the athletic dept is via handouts from the university's general budget. Even with the handouts, they still managed to lose money 9 of the last 10 years. I don't think they would improve the MWC, let alone the B1G.
