Replace Cal with Colorado and it seems more accurate. Cal just doesn't bring nearly enough to the table and the powers that be are in love with the population growth in Colorado. Plus there's the Nebraska rivalry. Even with Colorado being a dumpster fire of a program, this would be more likely than Cal ever would.
