And feeding more too often. I have a Ryobi and I put about 6-7 feet on at a time. Feeds beautifully. I can do my yard 3 times on that

Had this same issue. I believe I had the spring installed incorrectly and then the auto feed started working correctly.

I use Yard Guy brand. It works great with the manual labor attachment.

sounds like user error to me. Ryobi's been fine for me. I have several different yard tools, drill, sawzall, etc
