I live in SC so I heard about this dude.
He was highly recruited and eventually signed with UNC (I believe) and then transferred to South Carolina due to lack of playing time and a better opportunity in the SEC. They expected big things from him and he had some flashes, but then an injury slowed him and then another dude at USC really stepped up. They were excited about TySon being #2 but they also had another big recruit so Tyson wanted to be #1 and chose BYU for a better guarantee… a good choice for him in-spite of the early injury
