Did technology ruin music?
Problem with todays music is the non musicians get too much run. Anyone can manufacture music on a computer. Todays popular music is too often over produced, too auto tuned, too easy to make and get out there.

The thing about prior eras is if you wanted to make it, you needed to be a good musician. No more. It’s just bleeps and bops and blips and sounds all the same. It’s not music, it’s computer code.

I find myself gravitating towards new country music these days where at least I can find someone playing an actual guitar.

Music is not ruined. I give you “exhibit A” as evidence to the contrary: (kalifi, May 22, 2022 at 9:05am)
