Could be a helpful chant, for example on 17 today, if a ball is heading right you want it to go into the bunker
Instead of the water.
So I’m not convinced yelling that is a bad thing. And I’ve heard golfers yell for a ball to get in the bunker many times before, always to prevent an offline ball from going into a worse hazard. So it is actually a good thing.
Now yelling go into the water, that is of course negative always.
