play in team before the year started. It is such revisionist history to say they have always been a talented juggernaut that Kerr just needs to send out there.
Just look at the main rotation players. They are a bunch of rejects. No where close to the level of talent that of the old Lakers/Spurs/Bulls/Celtics teams:
Steph: the one generational talent on the team, but 34 years old. Every single expert that previewed this series said that Doncic was better.
Draymond: all star, but not a generational star. maybe you could argue he's a generational role player. Also widely considered washed by many NBA experts before the season started.
Klay: Coming off of the two worst injuries for an NBA player. Hasn't played for nearly three years and is obviously not the same player
Wiggins: Laughing stock before he got to the warriors. Was famously described by one expert as the worst defensive player in the NBA. Was untradeable he was so bad.
Looney: Anyone could have had him for six million a year. No one wanted him.
Poole: was widely considered the worst player in the NBA two years ago and one of the worst rookies of all time (to get regular playing time). Was the worst player I have ever seen get regular minutes. Was in the G League last year. The Warriors were rediculed and laughed at for picking him when they did.
Payton: A nobody. Anyone in the NBA could have had him for the minimum. Was so close to being out of the NBA over the summer that he actually applied for an open position on the Warriors video editing team (yes this is true).
Otto Porter: A reclamation project. Signed for the minimum because he was considered washed.
Kuminga: 19 year old that was considered one of the least playable players in the draft. Youngest player in NBA history to start a playoff game.
Moody: 19 years old.
