My issue was really with you saying they missed the year when they did not
I don't think I ever said anything about the impact of the Wilgar injury. The defense was bad well before he was injured and frankly was overrated by this board after the Utah and ASU games where they were more lucky than good. The 2020 defense was good the 2021 defense was bad even at the start of the year and got worse with injury.\
I didn't think Empey was our best OL going into last year and he had his worst year as a Cougar last year. There was actually an improvement at the center position when he was shut down.
