given our team enough of an edge that we didn't have to bend over backwards to try and play Coastal Carolina with no prep on the other side of the country. We had Wilson out by the end of the first half in about half of those games and went from an explosive offense to keeping up with opponents. None of those wins felt close when you watched, but the voters just looked at the stats and the overall score and the score was sometimes underwhelming.

It's possible Wilson would have been injured, so maybe it was the right choice, but if he had remained healthy, which is certainly possible, then I think pulling all the starters at halftime hurt us in 2020.
