I would have to imagine that with that kind of a budget, they would continue to spend wisely and would do very well in most sports, but there is an inherent cap that comes with being associated with the LDS religion.
You could make about a 15th rated recruiting class in football with the top LDS talent these days, that is likely the realistic ceiling in regards to recruiting classes, but BYU has historically overperformed recruiting rank vs real rank, so you could probably be a consistent top 10 team with those kind of resources, but I don't think we could ever be a consistent top 5 team, even with unlimited budget with the religious affiliation and the compliance to rules, but if you could funnel a bunch of money to NIL, it might move the needle a bit more, but I still don't think you ever get to a top 5 level.
