The related thread reminded me of a guy my wife and I know who is either NOT self-aware of how his baldness makes him look, or he simply doesn't care. I don't think it's the latter, because he's pretty concerned with the latest styles etc... He's a sharp dresser, fit, decent-looking guy.

But his baldness situation is kinda crazy. He's the got the 'Fryer Tuck' thing going on where there's the bald top, but mostly covered in the front, sides, and back.

Recently, he shaved the back and sides pretty tight but left the front longer, so he has kind of a 'tuft' of hair up there. It looks really weird. (Hard to describe)

I can't decide if he's totally unaware of what's happening or if maybe he's even trying to be 'funny' about it. He's one of those guys that (IMO) would look way better if he just shaved his head.

His wife is also very focused on fashion/trends, etc...and it's hard for me to see how she doesn't recognize how weird it looks.

Then again, they're probably not as shallow as me...
