Govt makes so much money off of excise taxes
It’s almost like a triple tax to add more taxes on top of the taxes already paid. The notion that govt isn’t getting its cut out of fuel transactions is laughably absurd.
I’m somewhat fine with those taxes. Just don’t lie to me and act as if government is getting an unfair portion when it takes in tens and tens of billions per year on these transactions.
