Because of CA relationships and Leftist politics, the B1G ends up taking these four:
USC
UCLA
Stanford
Cal
They really don't want Cal, but Berkeley holds protests and calls them racist if they don't take the Bears, and the B1G relents.
The B1G wants Oregon instead, but determines under political pressure that long term $$$ is in CA and the immediate orbit of USC.
The Big XII evaluates markets and takes the most lucrative remaining programs:
Oregon
UW
Arizona St.
Colorado
Utah nation throws an epic tantrum, but the Big XII reassures the Utes that they will already dominate the Utah market and much much more with BYU in the conference and the PAC 12 departing existence.
Hair Thompsen announces to the nation that the MWC is now a national player by scooping up:
Wash St
Ore St
Arizona
Utah
The West Concourse requires clean up.
